CODE OF CONDUCT

Updated 9/6/2025

HELLO!

Welcome to the Lone Wolves Community! This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations for all members to ensure a respectful, supportive, and productive environment. While we value individualism, our collective strength comes from mutual respect and understanding.

WHO THE LONE WOLVES COMMUNITY IS:

What started as a response to industry-wide restructuring has grown into a dynamic slack community of 550+ top executives and creative leaders, from the biggest companies in music, tech, and entertainment.

Our goal is to highlight, showcase and uplift our community members through content, career and start-up acceleration, and basic human connection.  We are a center of excellence that empower members to be the change they wish to see. This means:

  1. We respect each other: Treat all members with respect, kindness, and empathy, regardless of their background, beliefs, or experience. Understand that everyone has their own journey and perspective.
  2. We pay it forward: All members are here because they have been through a layoff at some point or they are on some sort of solo career journey (Entrepreneurship, etc)
  3. No Gatekeeping: We are open and non competitive.
  4. Keep engagement constructive: Engage in discussions and interactions in a constructive and positive manner. Disagreements are natural, but they should be handled respectfully, focusing on ideas rather than personal attacks.
  5. Privacy: Respect the privacy of other members. Do not share personal information about others without their explicit consent. Build trust through honest and reliable interactions.
  6. No Harassment or Discrimination: Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or nationality.
  7. Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety and well-being of yourself and others. If you encounter content or behavior that makes you or others feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please report it.
  8. Honesty and Integrity: Be honest and act with integrity in all your interactions within the community. Misinformation, deception, or malicious actions undermine the trust we aim to build.
  9. Contribution and support: Especially as this is a free community, we encourage members to contribute positively to the community when they can, whether through sharing knowledge, offering support to other members and the exec team,  participating in discussions or volunteering for special projects & requests
  10. Self-Reliance and Accountability: Embrace the spirit of self-reliance, but also be accountable for your own actions and words. Take responsibility for your contributions and their impact.
